A Lagos based Rapper from Benue State Popularly known by his stage name TEN VIRGINZ took to his social media telling his fans what the stage name he adopted has caused him in the industry. He said “The name TEN VIRGINZ sounds like ritualist something 😂 and it has chased away many of my opportunities” 😃

Giving the reasons behind the sudden change of name to NEEKSNATION, the rapper said “it is a top management decision as well and so he will like to be officially addressed as DRIZY henceforth.”

Celebrities build brand recognition based on their name, so the question is why would they just wake up and change it after establishing a name people are familiar with?

BRAND REFRESH

If you’ve been around for a long time and need a new start, a name change can help. A brand refresh is like an upgrade of an old version.
After a career spanning two decades and achieving the best of all there is on the continent, 2face Idibia decided to change his name to 2Baba. This name was a something he was fondly called by fans before he made it official.
On this same reason, fast rising Benue act Prof. Jeezy recently changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol (Zeek9ine) 🙄 but thank God we can pronounce it now.

Please Note:

This changing of name from TEN VIRGINZ to DRIZY is not associated with any scandal but just brand refreshing. So we wish the defunct TEN VIRGINZ, now DRIZY all the best in his career ✌️.
